The nearest shops to Ormsary Lodges are in Ardrishaig and Lochgilphead.

Yes the beaches and sea all around this area are safe to enjoy and swim.

How many lodges are there, are they very close together?

There are 12 lodges in total on the site, they are all within walking distance of each other but are far enough apart to give everyone a bit of privacy.

There is a small but very good Inn at Kilberry which is 6 miles away from the lodge site.

Are the lodges suitable for disabled guests?

There are two lodges with ramps at the entrance but after that there are no further extras in the lodges.

Are all the lodges supplied with bed linen?

Yes all lodges will have bed linen provided but customers must bring their own towels.

Is there a meter or slot machine for the electricity supply?

No the cost of electricity is included in the price paid for the rent of your lodge.

Are there routes suitable for walking?

Yes, there are many hill walks suitable for walking or cycling. A map is provided in each lodge for this purpose.

Can I order milk and papers to be collected locally?

Milk and papers can be ordered in advance and will be delivered to the Estate office three miles along the road.

Where is the Sports Hall located?

The Ormsary Community and Sports Hall is located three miles along the road from the site. There is a badminton court, table tennis court and various other indoor activities available there.

Is there regular public transport?

There is a small local bus passes the site gate two or three times a day every day except for Sundays.
