Ormsary Lodges

Ormsary Lodges lie in a beautiful and secluded woodland setting at Camas, close to a vast expanse of sandy beach at the head of Loch Caolisport.

The beach, only a short walk from the lodges, is perfect for children bathing and ideal for family activities such as windsurfing or launching a small boat.

Ormsary has wonderful opportunities for family activities with 20 miles of traffic-free footpaths and mountain bike tracks. It is a haven for wildlife – the unspoilt moors, woods and shoreline are a delight for birdwatchers especially.

Ormsary is the perfect base to explore beautiful and historic Argyll: the prehistoric monuments of Kilmartin, the famous gardens at Crarae and Arduaine, the islands of Islay, Jura, Mull and Iona.

The spacious lodges are set comfortably apart from each other, giving you the unintruded privacy necessary for a truly relaxing holiday. They are comfortably furnished, each with three bedrooms accommodating six people. Two are suitable for visitors in wheelchairs. Each is well equipped with full sized cooker, microwave, washer dryer and free to air satellite TV.

In the centre of the park there is a children’s play area containing swings and a seesaw, and a large field area
with goal posts for more boisterous games. A small Pitch and Putt course is on site, ideal for youngsters trying golf for the first time, or a fun game for all the family. There is a small pond where you can try your luck at fishing. All holidaymakers have the use of the Community Centre at Ormsary, just 3 miles away, for indoor sports such as badminton, table tennis and indoor football. Some equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your own and use the space as you wish.
