There is a ferry link route, this is a fairly long roundabout route to
take but can be done if anyone would prefer to travel by ferry. There
is a ferry running from Greenock, or Gourock to Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula,
from there travellers have to drive to Portavadie where they can catch
another ferry to Tarbert, Loch Fyne. From there it is a 40 minute drive
to our holiday cabins.
The other ferry route which can be taken is from Ardrossan to the island
of Arran and from there there is a smaller ferry from Lamlash to Skipness
on the Kintyre Peninsula. It is a drive of aproximately 1 hour to the holiday
lodges. All ferries mentioned are run by Caledonian MacBrayne (tel. 08705 650000) or on line reservations
can be made on www.calmac.co.uk/reservations.
